the nightly news

«The mass media serve as a system for communicating messages and symbols to the general populace. It is their function to amuse, entertain, and inform, and to inculcate individuals with the values, beliefs, and codes of behavior that will integrate them into the institutional structures of the larger society. In a world of concentrated wealth and major conflicts of class interest, to fulfill this role requires systematic propaganda»

«But it needs to be said: Corrupt corporations are made up of regular people. People like yourself, who know that the company they work for is no longer interested in serving the costumer.

There are hospitals full of medical professionals refusing care because an insurance company tells them to, teachers passing students that can't read because they are 'forced' to follow administrative orders, and even generals sending soldiers to wars they don't believe in.

Honestly, where are your morals? Do you need that paycheck more than you need integrity? If you don't like the way your company is doing business, walk into your employer's office and demand change. If things don't change, quit and tell everyone why.

Just. Do. Something.

And I truly believe you would, if you weren't so busy surfing the internet instead of doing your fucking job.»
